Blue Door

This is the death of new coat of pain on a very old door in the meatpacking district in New York City, USA.

Over the last 5 years of so, the place has become a hipsters paradise, full of boutiques, restaurants, nighclubs and art galleries. It used to actually be a meatpacking district.

This building was one of the last hangers-on from the old days. When I shot this picture, it was for sale. The sign in the window read "Great place for a hot new restaurant"...
